Operations at Omaha's Eppley Airfield returned to normal around 9:20 Monday morning after a threat was investigated and a terminal area cleared.
In a news release, the Omaha Airport Authority says at approximately 08:20 a.m., a security threat was communicated to the Omaha Airport Authority related to the Eppley Airfield terminal.
In an abundance of caution, the pre-security areas of the terminal were temporarily evacuated.
Eppley Police worked with Omaha Police, TSA, and FBI to resolve the issue.
At approximately 9:25 a.m., normal passenger operations resumed at Eppley Airfield following a security sweep of the airport.
