In 2026, the Nebraska Broadcasters Association Foundation will offer up to three student scholarships, each valued at $2,000. The awards are open to students pursuing broadcast-related studies at accredited colleges, universities, technical institutions, or approved trade schools.

The foundation’s goal is to support education across all areas of broadcasting, including journalism, production, management, advertising, broadcast engineering, emerging technologies, and digital and multiplatform media. Eligible applicants must hold a high school diploma. Please note that college credit earned through dual enrollment while in high school does not meet the requirement.

Qualified students are encouraged to submit their applications by the published deadline. Completed applications, along with all required documentation, must be received by the NBAF office no later than March 1, 2026.
