Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Enforcement Begins Statewide

(Omaha, NE) -- You may see extra law enforcement on the roads beginning tonight. Thirty different agencies received grant money-- to pay for extra patrols through the holidays. Departments include:

Colfax County Sheriff's Office

Columbus Police Department

Dakota County Sheriff's Office

Douglas County Sheriff's Office

Fremont Police Department

Gage County Sheriff's Office

Gothenburg Police Department

Hall County Sheriff's Office

Hamilton County Sherrif’s Office

Howard County Sheriff's Office

Kimball Police Department

Lancaster County Sheriff's Office

Lincoln County Sheriff's Office

Nebraska City Police Department

Nebraska State Patrol

O'Neill Police Department

Otoe County Sheriff's Office

Papillion Police Department

Platte County Sheriff's Office

Ralston Police Department

Richardson County Sheriff's Office

Sarpy County Sheriff's Office

Saunders County Sheriff's Office

Scotts Bluff County Sheriff's Office

Stanton County Sheriff's Office

Valley County Sheriff's Office

Washington County Sheriff's Office

It's part of the "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign. During the 2024 “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign, participating Nebraska law enforcement

agencies wrote 253 citations for impaired driving.
