The Drug Enforcement Administration is intensifying its fight against opioids in the Midwest. It recently launched Fentanyl Free America. Since October, the Omaha Field Divison has removed seven million doses of fentanyl from five Midwest states, including Iowa. DEA intelligence indicates that cartels are increasing trafficking of fentanyl powder and pills. Through Fentanyl Free America, the DEA is putting pressure on the global fentanyl supply chain and forcing narco-terrorists to change business practices. Since 2021, synthetic opioids have claimed nearly 325,000 American lives.
