Woman Sentenced In Northeast Nebraska Quadruple Murder

(Laurel, NE) -- A woman is sentenced Thursday for a quadruple homicide in northeast Nebraska.

Carrie Jones is sentenced to life in prison for first-degree murder, evidence tampering, and accessory charges.

The victims, Michelle Ebeling, Janet and Gene Twiford, and their daughter Dana Twiford, were found murdered in two separate burning homes in Laurel, Nebraska, in Cedar County over three years ago.

Carrie Jones's husband, Jason Jones, was also convicted in the case.
