(Silver City, IA) -- A decorated combat veteran is announcing his candidacy for the United States Congress.
Republican Douglas Jensen is launching a campaign to represent Iowa's 4th congressional district.
Both Jensen and his wife Heidi served multiple deployments with the Air Force.
He joins Siouxland Chamber of Commerce President Chris McGowan, Iowa Tea Party founder Ryan Rhodes, former Iowa House Majority Leader Matt Windschitl, and software consultant Christian Schlaefer on the GOP primary ballot.
The seat is currently held by Representative Randy Feenstra who just announced his campaign for Iowa governor last week.
