(Blair, NE) -- A man accused of killing an Omaha Catholic Archdiocese priest two years ago pleads guilty to four felony counts.
45-year -old Kierre Williams pleads guilty to first-degree murder, use of a weapon to commit a felony, burglary, and possession of a weapon by a prohibited person in connection with the death of Father Stephen Gutgsell.
Washington County investigators say the priest was killed during a break-in at the rectory of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fort Calhoun in December of 2023.
Sentencing will be next month.
