Omaha Kitchen Fire Causes Thousands Of Dollars Damage

(Omaha, NE) -- Omaha Fire investigators say food accidentally left on a stove led to a kitchen fire that caused an estimated 35-thousand dollars damage to a house.

The fire was in the noon hour today at 66th and Curtiss Avenue.

There were no injuries, though the fire department says one person was checked out by paramedics.
