(Omaha, NE) -- Investigators say an Omaha woman found dead by her daughter early Thursday evening is the apparent victim of a murder-suicide.
Omaha Police say 39- year - old Shauna Shook was found in her apartment near 65th and Boyd Streets.
The Omaha Police helicopter ABLE-1 followed a vehicle into the Walmart parking lot near Cornhusker Road and Highway 75 in Bellevue, where they found Shook's boyfriend with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Police say 39-year - old Benjamin Myers was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
Omaha Police say at this point in the investigation, detectives are not looking for any other persons of interest related to the case.
