The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services says an inmate missing from the Community Corrections Center - Omaha is arrested by Omaha Police and is being held at Douglas County Corrections.
Corrections says Randy Johnson left the facility this past July, and his monitoring device was found near the facility.
He started his sentence in 2021, nine to 13 years out of Douglas County for possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession of a deadly weapon by a felon.
The state says Comunity Corrections Center - Omaha is one of two community custody facilities operated by Nebraska Corrections.
Community custody is the lowest custody level and the least restrictive facility.
Inmates are allowed to participate in work opportunities, attend school and religious services with prior approval and without direct supervision.
