(Sarpy County, NE) -- The Sarpy County Sheriff's Office investigates a fatal crash.
Deputies say two vehicles were in a minor property damage collision Tuesday evening at 162nd Avenue and Harrison Street.
When one of the drivers was outside of her vehicle checking damage, her vehicle was hit by another vehicle.
Deputies say 32-year old Lismary Cocho de la Paz suffered critical injuries.
Bystanders started CPR until paramedics arrived, but Lismary Cocho de la Paz died from her injuries at the hopistal.
The driver of the third vehicle, 47-year-old Charles Curley, was hospitalized.
Investigators say the other driver in the first collision left the scene, but was later located at his place of employment.
In a news release, the Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office thanks the citizens in the area who stopped to render aid to Lismary Cocho de la Paz until rescue personnel arrived.
