Two Men Reach Plea Agreements In Fatal 2023 Omaha Mass Shooting

(Omaha, NE) --Two men have reached plea agreements in a deadly 2023 mass shooting in Omaha.

William Willis was found guilty of assault, while Javaris Hesseltine was found guilty of manslaughter. The shooting near 24th and Decatur Streets killed 16-year-old Lamarantae Swift and injured five other people.

Sentencing for Willis and Hesseltine is scheduled for later this year.
