The Nebraska State Patrol hosted troopers and officers from eleven other states for a week of training dealing with the roadways.
NSP Carrier Enforcement troopers provided a series of training sessions focused on commercial motor vehicle safety, including inspections and post-crash investigations.
The training included troopers and officers from Iowa, Indiana, Missouri, Minnesota, South Dakota, Idaho, Texas, Wisconsin, Vermont, Illinois, and Kansas.
The training sessions provided both classroom and hands-on instruction in areas of forensic examination of commercial motor vehicles, as well as completion of post-crash inspections of commercial motor vehicles.
The Patrol says they received support from several Nebraska agencies and private companies in providing the sessions.
