Omaha Fire Investigators say a minor was taken to a hospital after a house fire that caused $33,000 in damage.
The fire was Monday evening at 94th and Ellison Ave.
Arriving firefighters found smoke and fire coming from a single- family, raised ranch- style residence.
Investigators say the fire was quickly put out.
Five dogs were rescued unharmed.
The fire department says smoke detectors alerted those inside, who were displaced and being helped by the Red Cross.
