The former Executive Director of the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission faces federal corruption and fraud charges.
The charges are against Hobert Rupe, along with Brent Zywiec, who is the co-owner of two Lincoln clubs.
Rupe is accused by the U.S. Attorney for the federal district of Nebraska of receiving a string of benefits from Zywiec, including sex acts, cash, free drinks, and free entry to the clubs.
Earlier this year, Rupe was suspended after a federal search warrant was served at the Liquor Control Commission offices.
He then resigned.
Rupe had been commission executive director since 2004.
