Nebraska Ranks 12th Worst State For Teachers

Nebraska has some room for improvement when it comes to working conditions for teachers.

A new report by WalletHub compares all 50 states and Washington D.C. based on 24 metrics, including income growth potential for teachers and the average number of students per teacher.

The study ranks Nebraska twelfth-worst for teachers.

Iowa ranks ninth-worst, while Hawaii and Montana are at the bottom of the list. Virginia and Utah rank best.
