Douglas County Sheriff's Deputies say the driver in a white Mercedes van who was reportedly approaching children and attempting to get them to enter the vehicle has been interviewed along with others, and it has been determined the series of events did not transpire as initially alleged.
After the investigation of the reports in the area of 162nd and Whitmore, the sheriff's office says there is no threat to the public from this van or individual.
The Douglas County Sheriff thanks everyone for sending in tips to identify the driver.
