A cosplay influencer was arrested after threatening to bomb a rival's booth at an anime convention in Bexar County, Texas, over the weekend.

Kendra Noel Manning, 25, who goes by the online moniker 'Kit Noel,' was charged with making a terroristic threat to impair public service, which is a third-degree felony, the New York Post reports. Manning allegedly commented on another influencer's Instagram that she was "planting a bomb in their booth today" at the San Japan Anime + Gaming Convention in response to a previous comment slamming Gamer Supps, a product marketed to video game streamers.

A convention attendee saw the comment and notified police in fear that Manning's threat was legitimate.

Manning was banned from the convention and issued a criminal trespass one day after the incident occurred. Several other attendees were reported to have legitimate safety concerns over Manning's threat, according to FOX San Antonio. The cosplayer admitted to making the threat before exiting the event, having been arrested by police after her admission.

Manning was held in Bexar County Jail and released on a $35,000 bond, according to the Bexar County Central Magistrate. The cosplayer has more than 115,000 followers on her TikTok account and more than 16,000 on her Instagram account.
