Andrew Shaw Found Guilty in 2018 Murder-for-Hire Plot

(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Andrew Shaw has been found guilty of orchestrating the 2018 murder of Chris Bagley.

Shaw was accused of hiring two men, Drew Wagner and Drew Blahnik, to murder Bagley after Bagley allegedly stole cash, drugs, and other items from Shaw. Bagley was stabbed multiple times and later found buried in a Cedar Rapids backyard.

Shaw was convicted of second-degree murder. A sentencing date has not yet been set.
