(Iowa) -- Seven Midwest organizations are receiving thousands of dollars in grant funding for sustainability .
The Wright Foundation for Sustainability and Innovation is rewarding $227,000 thousand dollars to seven organizations, including three tree canopy improvement grants and four regenerative agriculture grants.
The funding will go to the following organizations:
- Arboretum Detroit - $47,000
- Imagine Grinnell - $15,000
- Student Conservation Organization - $50,000
- Benton County Soil and Water Conservation District - $30,000
- Land Steward Project - $25,000
- Nebraska Soil Health Coalition - $30,000
- Practical Farmers of Iowa - $30,000
