An ICE detention center will be opened in Nebraska, to be called the Cornhusker Clink.

Governor Jim Pillen says it will be located in McCook, in Southwest Nebraska, using the state's Work Ethic Camp.

The ICE detention centers are intended to temporarily house illegal immigrants while they wait for deportation or court dates.

Pillen also ordered the Nebraska National Guard to provide administrative and logistical support to ICE and says Nebraska State troopers will help ICE arrest criminal, illegal aliens.

The Department of Homeland Security put out a news release calling the nation's third illegal immigrant detention center the Cornhusker Clink.
