In a news conference Wednesday at the White House, President Trump pointed to data center expansions in Iowa, Nevada, and Oregon as well as new manufacturing plants in Kentucky and Texas.
"That's big stuff." Trump said. "Apple is announcing that it will invest $600-Billion dollars, that's with a B, in the United States over the next four years. That's $100-Billion dollars more than they were going to invest."
The expansion of the data center in Waukee, in the Des Moines metro area was announced in February, as part of the initial $500-Billion dollar expansion plan.
