(Omaha, NE) -- The U.S. Marshal's Service Fugitive Task Force and Omaha Police SWAT teams punch a hole in the side of a house and send in a K9 to make an arrest and end a long standoff in north Omaha.
The officers were attempting to serve a warrant Friday morning at a home near 42nd and Sorenson Parkway, but the suspect did not surrender.
Police eventually used machinery to tear away siding under the roofline and arrest a 31-year- old man in the attic.
After hours of commands to surrender, negotiations, tear gas, and flash bangs, the suspect was taken into custody on an unknown federal warrant.
Others were brought out of the house when the warrant was originally served.
