New Apartment Development Proposed For Historic Papillion Public Works

(Papillion, NE) -- A townhome development is proposed for the historic downtown Papillion Public Works site.

Developers plan to repurpose the old Public Works building into four apartments while preserving its original stone structure, and build an additional 40 units.

The original WPA era building that formerly housed the city's Public Works facility sits on Lot 14 shown on the development map.

The Urban Waters at Public Works townhome development would include the public works building at 200 N Adams Street and additional four-plex townhomes on the property behind the historic building.

The Papillion City Council is scheduled to consider a special use permit for the development at its Tuesday meeting.
