Nebraska State Patrol Recruits Begin Training

A new Nebraska State Patrol class of recruits has started work.

The 23 recruits represent the largest starting class in the last five years.

Training for Camp 72 began Monday at the NSP Training Academy in Grand Island and will run for six months.

Camp 72 is scheduled to graduate on December 19th.

The Patrol says applications for the next class will open in August, with camp beginning in January, 2026.
