Two Lincoln Public Schools students who died in a traffic crash have been identified.

Lincoln Police say a car driven by 18-year-old Karwan Breem hydroplaned on a wet road at Antelope Valley Parkway and Virginia Street Monday afternoon and spun into southbound traffic, colliding with a pickup.

Both Karwan Breem and his 15-year-old sister, Karolin Breem, died from their injuries.

The driver of the pick-up had non-life-threatening injuries.

Lincoln Public Schools has communicated with families to provide LPS Crisis Team Support.
