The City of Ralston says its Independence Day celebration, which includes the traditional 4th of July parade, will continue to be held on July 3rd and July 4th this year, but there's a change in schedule for the city's fireworks display.
Traditionally, the Ralston fireworks show has been held on the 4th at 10 p.m., but due to the addition of new fireworks shows in the Omaha metro area, Ralston has decided to move its show to Thursday, July 3rd, beginning at 10 pm.
The city says all the other activities and events traditionally held with the Ralston Independence Day Celebration will be at the regular times this year including the large Ralston Day Parade on Friday, July 4th at 1 pm.
