(Atlanta, GA) -- A Georgia man accused of making threatening phone calls to a Nebraska lawmaker has been arraigned in federal court.
According to the U.S. Department of Justice, 25-year-old Robert David Forney, is accused of repeatedly calling U.S. Senators Ted Cruz and Deb Fischer in January. During these calls, Forney allegedly made threats of sexual violence against the senators and their families.
He is now facing federal charges of communicating threats in interstate commerce.
