Five Face Federal Charges After ICE Raid at Omaha Meat Plant

(LINCOLN, NE) -- Five people have been charged with assaulting or resisting federal agents during an ICE-led raid at Glenn Valley Foods in Omaha last week, according to federal officials.

The operation was aimed at finding unauthorized workers. Authorities say agents were assaulted during the raid, leading to charges that include assault, resisting arrest, and damaging government property.

The accused face penalties ranging up to 20 years in prison if convicted. The FBI’s Omaha office stated that assaulting law enforcement or damaging federal property during official operations is a criminal offense.
