Dozens of Kids in Protective Care After Alleged Abuse at Iowa Camp

(Louisa County, IA) – Dozens of children were taken into protective custody following allegations of abuse at a southeast Iowa camp, according to a Facebook post from the Louisa County Sheriff's Office. A total of 88 children attending Kingdom Ministry of Rehab and Recreation and the Shekinah Glory Camp were removed and brought to the Wapello Methodist Church. There, they met with Child Protection Workers and remained in state care until they could be safely reunited with their families.
