Nebraska Traffic Stop Nets 20 LBS Of Suspected Cocaine, Fentanyl

The Nebraska State Patrol says troopers arrested two people after locating more than 20 pounds of suspected fentanyl and cocaine during a traffic stop on I-80 near Lexington.

NSP says late Sunday morning, a trooper stopped a Honda CRV for speeding on I-80 near mile marker 239.

During stop, the trooper became suspicious of criminal activity.

Troopers performed a search of the vehicle and found several packages of suspected fentanyl and cocaine.

The total weight of the packages was approximately 23 pounds.

The Patrol says the driver, 25-year- old Miguel De Sala Rudecindo, and a passenger, 31-year- old Geudys Cabreja Nunez, both of New York City, were arrested for possession of cocaine, possession of fentanyl, and possession with intent to deliver.
