(Nebraska) -- Nebraska has a new State Patrol Superintendent.

Colonel Bryan Waugh was most recently the chief of the Kearney Police Department and has more than 30 years of experience in law enforcement. He was sworn in as the new superintendent during a ceremony this afternoon at the Nebraska State Patrol headquarters in Lincoln. He was appointed by Governor Jim Pillen to fill the position after Colonel John Bolduc retired last month.
