(Lincoln, NE) -- A bill disallowing transgender people from participating in women's sports is gaining approval from the Nebraska Legislature.

LB 89, also dubbed the "Stand With Women Act," would define "male" and "female" in state law and also apply to bathroom access. It now heads to Governor Jim Pillen’s desk, and he is expected to sign it.
