A confirmed case of measles is reported in the Nebraska Panhandle.

The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services and the Panhandle Public Health District say it involves an age-appropriately vaccinated child in Sheridan County in far northwest Nebraska.

They suspect spread within the community since the child has not been out of the state recently.

People present at the following locations during the indicated times may have been exposed to measles:

• Family Dollar in Rushville, NE on May 17th from 9am-Noon.

• Gordon Clinic in Gordon, NE on May 21st from 8am-1.pm.
