Increased Patrols at Nebraska State Parks Begin This Weekend

(Nebraska) -- Nebraska Game and Parks is increasing enforcement patrols at state parks starting this weekend. The agency says the effort is aimed at reducing alcohol-related boating and vehicle incidents.

Alcohol is prohibited on roads, swimming beaches, and in parking areas. The increased patrols will continue every weekend through August. Officers are also reminding visitors to follow all safety rules, both on land and on the water.
