(Lincoln, NE) -- The State Department of Transportation says twenty people died in traffic crashes on Nebraska roadways in April.
N-DOT says the fatalities happened in 19 crashes.
Four of the fifteen vehicle occupants killed were not using seatbelts, seven were, and four had seatbelt usage marked as unknown.
There was one fatality on the interstate, ten on other highways, and nine on local roads.
Fourteen of the fatalities were in rural areas.
One was a pedestrian, and four were motorcyclists.
