An Iowa State Senator is considering a run for congress in 2026. Lynn Evans (R-Aurelia) is forming an exploratory committee, and he is looking at a run in Iowa's fourth congressional district. The Republican from the northwest corner of the state is also an adjunct professor at Buena Vista University. He's serving his first term in the Iowa Senate and chaired the education committee this year. The move comes as current Rep. Randy Feenstra is running for governor in 2026.
