On a busy Omaha graduation weekend, a Friday evening dinner crowd is evacuated from a restaurant in the Dundee area.
A battalion chief says firefighters arriving at "Pitch" near 50th and Underwood Avenue did see quite a bit of smoke in the roof area.
When firefighters got on the roof, they discovered it was a fire in the vent system they quickly extinguished with minimal damage to the building.
There were no injuries, but the county health department will have to come in for an inspection to get the restaurant re-opened.
