A near-record number of people from Nebraska and Iowa are expected to travel over Memorial Day weekend.
AAA says it forecasts more than 3.7-Million people from the West North Central Region, which includes Nebraska and Iowa, to travel at least 50 miles.
The majority of those travelers will be driving.
That's about 116,000 more travelers than Memorial Day weekend 2024, but still less than the all-time record set in 2005.
More than 45-Million people are expected to travel nationwide.
