Omaha Police Make Second Arrest In Weekend Assault

Omaha Police have made a second arrest in connection with a weekend shooting.

Investigators say 37-year -old Dukhan Dumas is booked for 1st-degree assault, use of a firearm to commit a felony, possession of a gun by a prohibited person, and tampering with evidence in connection with a Saturday morning shooting at 42nd and Ames Avenue that injured one person.

Police say 32-year- old Marco Cruz-Zuniga had gunshot wounds, and he was taken to a hospital in critical condition. 

OPD says another suspect, 42-year- old David Taylor, was booked into Douglas County Corrections for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, accessory to a felony, and misdemeanor assault
