(Des Moines, IA) -- Iowa lawmakers are returning to the state capitol today to kick off the second week of overtime during this year's session. The House Appropriations committee is expected to meet today to get the rest of their budget bills through the committee level. Other bills eligible for consideration by the House include lowering the amount companies pay into the state's unemployment insurance fund and legislation that would award competitive grants to preschool providers. In the Iowa Senate, a stalemate over legislation related to eminent domain is the focus.
