(Des Moines, IA) -- An Iowa congressman is filing paperwork to run for Governor. Republican Randy Feenstra submitted the paperwork to the Iowa Ethics and Campaign Disclosure Board on Monday. Feenstra has been serving western Iowa's fourth congressional district since 2021. The news comes after current Republican Governor Kim Reynolds announced she will not seek re-election. He is the second candidate to officially file for the Republican nomination.
