Nebraska — More than 20,000 pounds of unused medication were safely disposed of during Drug Take Back Day in the Omaha district. According to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the medications were collected across Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, and the Dakotas.
Nationwide, over 620,000 pounds of medications were turned in as part of the effort to prevent drug abuse and misuse.
