Nebraska is one of the best states for teaching high schoolers how to budget.

A new report by WalletHub ranks states based on metrics like financial literacy test scores and average high school rankings.

Nebraska ranks tenth best for budgeting education overall and first for personal finance course requirements and financial literacy grades.

Utah and Virginia are at the top of the list for the best budgeting education, while Alaska and South Dakota are at the bottom.
