Lincoln Community Corrections Center Inmate Missing

(Lincoln, NE) - The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services says law enforcement is looking for an inmate missing from the Community Corrections Center - Lincoln.

Corrections says 31-year -old Tomica Anderson did not return Sunday afternoon from a religious furlough.

Anderson started her sentence last November: five to six years for burglary out of Douglas County.

She has a tentative release date of March 29th, 2027.

Anyone with knowledge of her whereabouts is asked to contact local police or the Nebraska State Patrol.

Corrections says the Lincoln facility is one of two community custody facilities operated by the department.

Community custody is the lowest custody level and the least restrictive facility.

Inmates are allowed to participate in work opportunities and attend school and religious services with prior approval and without direct supervision.
