(Omaha, NE) -- Warren Buffett, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, announced he will step down at the end of 2025. The 94-year-old made the announcement during the company’s annual shareholders meeting, stating he plans to ask the Board to replace him with Vice Chair Greg Abel.
Buffett has led Berkshire Hathaway since 1965. He emphasized that while he will step aside as CEO, he has no plans to sell his shares and may remain involved as an advisor.
