Suspect Arrested, Accused Of Drive-By Shooting In Omaha

A suspect is arrested and accused in a drive-by shooting that injured two men in North Omaha.

Investigators say 34-year-old Anthony Washington shot the victims from his car near 27th Street and Patrick Avenue yesterday morning.

The Omaha Police Department located the suspect vehicle and took Washington and a passenger into custody.

The passenger was interviewed and released.

Washington was booked at Douglas County Corrections, and faces charges including first-degree assault and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

The two victims remain in critical but stable condition.
