(Omaha, NE) -- Omaha police will get a pay increase.
The Omaha City Council approved the proposal that would raise the pay of all police, regardless of rank, for the remainder of the year. Officers across the board will see a 2.7 percent pay increase, now ensuring that Omaha Police Officers make 5 percent more than any other state agency in Nebraska. The pay raise is aimed at addressing challenges and increasing recruiting rates for police officers.
