Douglas County Sheriff's Office Itemizes Suspected Stolen Items

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office says investigators have identified numerous items that are known and reported as stolen within the inventory seized from "Nebraska Precious Metals" last week.

They say it includes nearly $109,000 worth of jewelry items stolen from numerous Omaha retailers, most of which still included the retailers attached security devices and price tags.

Items also include Yeti coolers, Lego sets, tools, and other goods.

“DCSO has several known suspects who we know sold stolen items to NPM through video and other evidence,” said Sheriff Aaron Hanson in a news release. “We will be following up with all of them in the near future. If anyone wants to get ahead of the investigation and contact us before we contact them, feel free to call us at 402-444-4358.”

The owner of "Nebraska Precious Metals" and the manager of the business were arrested during a raid at the business last week.
