Omaha Illegal Narcotics Investigation And Arrest

Omaha Police say the Narcotics and Field Investigations Units have concluded an ongoing investigation with the arrest of 31-year-old Abdulmalek Nagi.

Nagi was suspected of operating an illegal THC distribution warehouse at 4891 F Street.

Last Thursday, OPD Narcotics and Field Investigations Unit detectives, assisted by the OPD SWAT team, K9 Unit, Sarpy County Sheriff's Office, and the Nebraska Attorney General's Office, executed a search warrant at the warehouse location.

Officers located Nagi and took him into custody without incident.

Detectives discovered a large-scale illegal THC sales operation inside the warehouse.

Evidence indicated the facility was supplying numerous area smoke shops with illegal (Delta-9) THC products.

Detectives seized thousands of illegal Delta-9 THC vape pens and cartridges, THC waxes, THC-infused candies, leafy marijuana, Khat, psychedelic mushrooms, and a significant amount of cash.

Detectives booked Nagi into the Douglas County Corrections for possession of a scheduled drug with intent to distribute.
